Delete a Company

You can delete companies in kolum to keep your workspace organized and free of unused or test entries. Deleting companies helps maintain clean records for reporting and supply chain management.

How to Delete a Company

1. Delete a Single Company

• Click the company you want to delete from your Companies list.

• Click Edit in the top right.

• Click the red Delete company button on the left.

• Confirm the deletion when prompted.

The company will be permanently removed from your workspace.

2. Bulk Delete Companies

If you need to delete multiple companies at once:

• In your Companies list, select the checkboxes next to the companies you want to delete.

• Click the Delete button in the top right.

• Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.

Important: Linked Suppliers Must Be Removed First

If a company is connected to suppliers in kolum, it cannot be deleted until these supplier connections are removed. To delete such a company:

• Edit the company and remove all connected suppliers.

• Save the changes.

• Proceed to delete the company using the steps above.

This ensures data consistency in your workspace and prevents accidental deletion of linked supplier data.

What Happens When You Delete a Company

• The company is removed from your workspace.

• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

When to Delete a Company

• The company is no longer active.

• The company was added by mistake or used for testing.

• You need to clean up your workspace to maintain organized records.
