Add New Production Facility
Adding production facilities in kolum helps you track where your goods are produced and link them accurately to articles and emissions data. Keeping your facilities list organized ensures your reporting is accurate and your supply chain remains transparent.
Each production facility you add represents a real-world location where your products are manufactured. This is crucial for emissions tracking, article mapping, and reporting processes. It also helps your team align production data with the correct facilities, improving data quality and making your workflows easier to manage.

How to Add a New Production Facility
Navigate to the Production Facilities page Go to My Organization > Production Facilities and click Add New (top right).
Enter Production Facility Details
Name: Give your facility a clear, recognizable name (e.g., “Berlin Plant 1”).
Company: Select the company this facility belongs to from the dropdown.
Enter Address Details You can either:
Use company address by checking the box if the facility’s address is the same as the company’s, or
Enter address details manually:
Street Name and Number (optional)
PO Box (optional)
City (mandatory)
Postal Code (optional)
Country (mandatory, select from the dropdown)
UN/LOCODE (optional)
Latitude and Longitude (optional for precise mapping)
Click “Create Production Facility” Once all required fields are complete, click Create Production Facility to save it to your account.
Check Your Facility in the List After creation, your new facility will immediately appear in the Production Facilities list, making it ready for article mapping and emissions tracking.
