Edit Production Facility
You can edit a production facility in kolum at any time if you need to update its name, linked company, address details, or correct any mistakes made during setup. Keeping your facility information up to date ensures that emissions tracking and article mapping for your EU buyers remain clear and accurate.
Maintaining accurate facility data helps your EU buyers know where your goods are produced and supports reliable emissions data sharing, improving trust and transparency across your supply chain.
How to Edit a Production Facility
Navigate to the Production Facilities page from the sidebar.
Find the facility you wish to edit in the list.
Click on the facility name to open its details page.
Click the Edit button in the top-right corner of the page.
Update the relevant fields:
Name (mandatory)
Company (mandatory, ensure the correct company is linked)
Address Details:
If using the company address, you do not need to fill out the address fields.
If using a separate facility address, ensure:
Street name and number
Postal code and city (mandatory)
Country (mandatory, use the two-letter country code, e.g.,
DE,FR,IT).Optional: Post office box, UN/LOCODE, latitude, longitude.
Review your changes to ensure all mandatory fields are filled correctly and there are no typos.
Click Save facility to apply your changes.
Important to Note
If you change the linked company, the facility will remain connected to previous emissions data but will now appear under the updated company in kolum.
If you need to remove a facility’s address and use the company address instead, simply select the Use company address option and clear the manual address fields before saving.
After Editing
Your changes will immediately appear in your Production Facilities list. This ensures that all linked articles and emissions workflows will use the updated information, supporting accurate and clear collaboration with your EU buyers.
